RightShip Pty Ltd is owned equally between BHP Billiton and Rio Tinto Shipping and Cargill Ocean Transportation. The three parent companies are RightShip's only shareholders.
Each joint venture partner nominates two directors to the six-person Board, and the Chairmanship is rotated between the six Directors. The current Chairman of RightShip Pty Ltd is Murray Worner.
